Halsey is trying to make light of a serious situation as she shared a picture of herself wearing adult diapers, following an undisclosed medical procedure, in her Instagram Story.
"Back in diapers but at least they have little bows," she captioned the photo.
The "Without Me" hitmaker was wearing striped pajamas, and had several bandages covering some parts of her abdomen.
Halsey Opens Up About Endometriosis
While Halsey did not say much about why she had to don a diaper, many assumed that it might have something to do with her battle with endometriosis. Elsewhere in her Story, she thanked Thaïs Aliabadi, a celebrity OB-GYN, referring to the doctor as her "queen" and thanking her for her "unparalleled care and brilliance."
According to The International News, the singer has gone through several surgeries for her condition, and was left with the option to freeze her eggs at the age of 23.
Endometriosis is a disease in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of it. According to the World Health Organization, the condition can cause severe pain and make it harder for women to get pregnant.

Halsey Pulls Out of Tour Due to Illness
Halsey's condition has contributed to her canceling tours and event appearances several times before.
In 2022, she opened up about her experience as an artist with endometriosis, say that she was "trying my best to keep things normal; Grammy's Coachella etc."
However: "My body is putting up a strong protest. And ultimately demanding that I slow down or stop foreal [sic] this time. Especially so I can be in the best shape for tour."
"I am doing the best I can under difficult circumstances," she added.
Despite her condition, the "Colors" hitmaker managed to give birth to a son, Ender.
"Finding out I had endo was the most bittersweet moment because it meant I wasn't crazy," she wrote, reflecting on her diagnosis. "I wasn't a 'baby!' I had every right to be feeling like the world was caving in."
According to US Weekly, Halsey is now a strong advocate for those suffering from endometriosis and other reproductive illnesses.
