Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are spotted together again for the first time since social media exploded with rumors of their divorce and separation.
In Touch Weekly reported that Affleck was spotted fetching Lopez and her daughter Emme outside his daughter Seraphina's school, who recently starred in a play.
Affleck can be seen from the driver's seat leaning to open the shotgun door for Lopez to enter the car. Lopez then sat in the front seat while Emme sat in the back. The outlet described Affleck as "stone-faced" as he drove Emme and Lopez away from the school.
"Jen looked super thin and was dressed casual-chic. She didn't glam up like the last time she came to a school function. She seemed more subdued than usual when she greeted Ben as he pulled the car up. Emme was super excited, though, jumping for joy over Fin's performance," a witness said about seeing Lopez.
The outlet also reported that this was the second time that Lopez had seen Seraphina perform onstage in her school.
"Nothing would have stopped them coming together for the kids. All the marriage drama comes second. They are putting on a united front. Jen showed up with Emme to support Fin. Emme's super attached to Fin, so it's only natural that Jen, no matter what she's going through with Ben, was there," the source close to the situation confirmed.
In Touch Weekly also reported that Affleck had moved out of his home with Lopez despite their fairytale love story and wedding in 2022.
"Ben already moved out, and they'll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for," an insider revealed to the outlet.
A similar source confirmed that Affleck and Lopez are heading toward a divorce.
"The writing is on the wall - it's over. They're headed for a divorce - and for once, [Ben's] not to blame! They'll never stop loving each other, but she can't control him, and he can't change her. There's no way it could have lasted," the source added.
Lopez co-chaired the 2024 Met Gala and was alone in the outing. According to a People source, Affleck wasn't present at the star-studded gala to support his wife because he was shooting the sequel to The Accountant in California and had scheduling problems that prompted his absence from the fashion event.
