Ben Affleck has reached his breaking point amid his marital woes with Jennifer Lopez, a source claimed.
Concerns over Affleck's sobriety resurfaced after the divorce buzz emerged, and they intensified after the Air star confronted photographers outside his Los Angeles home on June 23. After the incident, a source revealed the incident only proved he had "lost control."
"It's not surprising he snapped. He's at his breaking point," a source told In Touch. "People close to Ben have been concerned about him for some time because of what he's gone through in the past couple of months."
Affleck, as seen in the video obtained by TMZ, got out of his car when he exited the driveway to his and Lopez's Beverly Hills mansion. He called out the photographers for their "dangerous behavior."
"You're gonna get me into an accident," said Affleck, but the other photographers still continued with their flash photography. "Don't flash your lights when someone is driving down the driveway. Don't do that. That's dangerous. Stop. It's dangerous what you guys are doing, don't you understand? I can't see! You're gonna get somebody hurt doing this s---."
He told the photographers they were putting her daughter in danger because of the flash.
Because of the recent events, his loved ones have been worried about him since he "is in a really dark place."
Months after the buzz started, Affleck left the marital home and moved into a rental that is only two blocks away from Jennifer Garner's house.
The 13 Going on 30 actress has been present for Affleck and their children amid the concerns, and she has reportedly visited him several times due to fears he might fall off the wagon. On the other hand, Lopez, who canceled her tour to "spend more time with her family and friends," has not been with Affleck as often as she used to.
"The funny thing is that when J. Lo announced her tour cancellation, she said she wanted to spend more time with her family, but she spends minimal time with them, and she truly doesn't seem bothered by what Ben is going through," the source continued. "Ben, on the other hand, has been very focused on his kids."
