Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's romance has practically run the internet for weeks already. The attention that the two have raked in in the past few weeks has been huge - making them the two most talked about celebrities today.
For some avid football fans, this Taylor Swift romance might be seen as a distraction for Kelce in his upcoming games. However, the NFL superstar assured everyone that he was here to score more wins.
Travis Kelce 'On Top' Of Taylor Swift Relationship, Games
Speaking to the media earlier this week, Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce answered questions gracefully when he was asked about his budding romance with Taylor Swift.
Before dabbling into his personal life, Kelce first talked about how he is focused on getting the Chiefs' fourth consecutive win, after scoring three wins since last weekend. The Chiefs are now matched with the Minnesota Vikings this coming weekend.
"As all the attention comes...it feels like I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now I'm even more on top of the world," he added.
As for how he handles staying on top of the game and his relationship with the global superstar Taylor Swift, the 33-year-old confessed that he's still "learning" to navigate life with "paparazzi just taking photos from all over the place." Kelce said that paparazzi even went to his Kansas City Home to wait for him.
Kelce then confirmed what many Swifties love him for - he knows that he's dating Taylor Swift.
"At the same time, it comes with it. It comes with it. You've got a lot of people that care about Taylor, and for good reason," he shared.
Swifties have given Kelce a collective stamp of approval after noticing that he knows how to handle Swift's fame and treat her as such.
Additionally, Kelce assured everyone that his romance would Swift wouldn't affect his dedication to winning.
At the end of the day, I've always been pretty good about compartmentalizing and being able to stay focused in this building, so I'll just keep rolling with that," he affirmed.
Kansas City Chief Coach Is Confident With Kelce
As such, Chiefs President Mark Donovan told People Magazine in an interview that he's confident that Travis Kelce 'Can Handle' the attention that comes with dating Taylor Swift.
"Travis is a smart team player," he assured. "He can handle it and has been very professional."
Donovan believes that Kelce is "focused on the right things" as he know that he's doing it the right way, adding that the locker room has the "maturity, leadership and respect" to handle it.
