Did Taylor Swift really snub King Charles' invitation to perform at his Coronation?
In reaction to the accusation that the "Anti-Hero" singer did refuse to perform at UK's special day, author Omid Scobie has felt the full wrath of loyal Taylor Swift fans.
Commonly known as "Swifties," they are widely renowned for their unwavering defense of the popstar in any challenging situation.
The 42-year-old royal biographer is the latest recipient of this passionate loyalty.
Omid's recently published work, "Endgame," revealed that the renowned singer, 33, refused to participate in King Charles' coronation ceremony in May despite already being booked for her highly successful eras tour show across America.
Swifties Are Fuming Over The Author's Claims
According to the Daily Mail, one infuriated supporter posted their thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter: "This is reprehensible dishonesty."
"I was at Taylor Swift's Nashville gig during her Eras Tour when the Coronation occurred."
In addition to declining a handwritten offer from Meghan Markle to appear on her podcast - a detail omitted from Scobie's book - Swifties quickly pointed out that Taylor Swift rejected an invitation to perform at the Coronation.
According to Omid, various other musicians also refused this honor, proving difficult for event organizers.
An individual voiced caution: "It would be in his best interest to steer clear of Taylor Swift. He figured the Royal Family was a formidable force, but he didn't realize what galvanized Swifties are capable of if provoked! He should have consulted someone who knows."
Sure enough, legions of loyal Swifties took to X to register their anger.
Many Swifties expressed their disdain on X for Omid Scobie being called a "Royal Expert."

One commenter stated: "It's laughable to refer to him as such- he's just Harry and Meghan's mouthpiece, and that was made clear during the court case."
Another added: "Not only did Scobie fail to respect the Swifties, but he also tried to deceive them with a falsehood that could easily be verified."
Taylor Swift's Major Achievements
Taylor Swift has had a remarkable year; this past week was no exception.
As part of Spotify's annual Wrapped rundown, the streaming service announced that in 2023, the "Lavender Haze" singer had become their most-streamed artist with an astounding 26.1 billion streams overall since January 1, 2023 - surpassing Bad Bunny's three-time record as well as those of The Weeknd, Drake, and Peso Pluma.
The incredible success of Taylor Swift's late-2022 album, "Midnights," and the two chart-topping re-recordings, "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" and "1989 (Taylor's Version)," has certainly been no shock to anyone, particularly with "1989 (Taylor's Version)," which in its first week managed to generate an astounding 375.49 million on-demand official streams.
