After months of silence, Taylor Swift finally shared how she and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, got together.

It turns out a handmade bracelet with his phone number on it did the trick.

While the athlete's original plan may not have worked out as he intended, the "Teardrops On My Guitar" singer still found the gesture incredibly romantic and was won over.

The Start

In July, Travis, the 34-year-old tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs, spoke on his "New Heights" podcast about his unsuccessful attempt to present Taylor with custom jewelry featuring his digits after one of her shows.

Opening up in her first interview for nearly four years, Taylor commented on how Travis had so profoundly impressed her that she decided to contact him.

The result was a blossoming relationship between the pair, which they kept under wraps until September last year.

Taylor told TIME magazine, "This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal. We started hanging out right after that."

"So we had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I'm grateful for because we got to know each other."

The "Lavender Haze" hitmaker revealed that when she witnessed the game, they had been in a relationship for some time.

People likely assumed it was their first date, but that would have been a bit much.

Taylor went on to say didn't needed to be more hardcore to use such an occasion to "hard launch [our] romance" during their first date.

She also said that being in a public relationship implies that they don't mind other people seeing us together and showing each other additional support.

On the contrary, it required an extensive effort to keep a relationship hidden from the world.

The award-winning singer-songwriter explained they should be proud of one another no matter what kind of arrangement they are in.

Sports-Minded

Since accompanying Travis Kelce to his sports events, Taylor Swift has developed an appreciation for the sport. She mentioned: "I'm attending Travis' games to show my support. It's pretty amazing how I've been missing out this whole time."

In stark contrast is her state of mind six years ago, which was far from joyous.

Moving to UK To Recoup

During her cover interview with Time magazine, which named her its Person of the Year, Taylor Swift revealed how she had spent a full year living in seclusion after being attacked and criticized by Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. She had become overwhelmed by fear that her career was over.

Undoubtedly, the superstar has become one of the top-selling recording artists worldwide.

She firmly believes that her extraordinary current success is due to both an intensely traumatic experience and the highly publicized sale of her entire musical collection to mogul Scooter Braun.

She expressed her appreciation: "I cannot help but be aware of the two significant events that initiated this process. The first was almost having my entire career taken away through cancellation."

"The second was watching someone with hatred towards me take control over something I'd spent so much time and energy on."

The Drama

In 2016, Taylor Swift experienced a storm of controversy surrounding Kanye West's song "Famous," in which he included a lewd lyric about her and insinuated that he was the one responsible for making her a celebrity.

Exclaiming in disbelief, she uttered: "Seeing my masters being sold to someone who I think had malicious intentions shocked me to the core. I could hardly believe it when the sale of my music was finalized, and I found out who bought it."

"I was like, 'Oh, they got me beat now. This is it. I don't know what to do. I'd run into Kelly Clarkson, and she would go, 'Just redo it.'"

"My dad kept saying it to me too. I'd look at them and go, 'How can I possibly do that?'"

"Nobody wants to redo their homework if the wind blows your book report away on the way to school. It's all in how you deal with loss. I respond to extreme pain with defiance."
