Snoop Dogg is all over the internet not only for his music but also for memes. Recently, the musician went viral on social media after a photo of him joining the cast of the movie "Oppenheimer" made rounds online; was he a part of the official cast?

The hip-hop legend appeared in an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" where he explained the background behind the hilarious photo as numerous stars of the film like Robert Downey Jr., Cillian Murphy, Florence Pugh, Emily Blunt, and more posed for a snap.

However, many people noticed that Snoop Dogg was in the background which led many people confused as they didn't remember him being involved with the movie.

Snoop Dogg Shares Context Behind 'Oppenheimer' Photo

Some people believed that the image was edited, but it was indeed true and Snoop Dogg gave the context as to why he was included in the star-studded photo even though he was not one of the cast members.

When Kimmel asked him if he was a part of the movie, the musician clarified: "No, I wasn't in the movie."

He further explained that he was at the party that evening and he was "a fan of the majority of the cast on there, the director, the actors."

The rapper said they asked him to be in the picture as they said: "'We can't take a picture unless Snoop Dogg is in it.' I'm like, 'Alright.'" (via Uproxx)

Regarding his reaction to the movie, Snoop Dogg said he loved it and although it was a long film, he still enjoyed it.

Initially, the rapper received screeners to watch some clips at home, but he couldn't "watch it in pieces" that's why he went to watch it in the theater.

Snoop Dogg Update

The recent news comes a few days after Snoop Dogg finally spoke out about his daughter's health condition after she revealed that she suffered a "severe stroke" earlier this month.

While at the premiere of "The Underdoggs" earlier this week, the rapper gave an update about his daughter, Cori Broadus, saying she's doing "a little bit better."

Broadus also shared on her Instagram Story that her health is doing better compared to when she had a stroke.

"My ct scan of my chest came back normal and I'm going home today. I can prolly cry omgggg. Thank you thank you for the continuous prayers, love etc," she wrote.
