Superstar Adele, who was raised in Tottenham, has shared the strange incident that made her use public transportation once more after she had refused to use the tube for nearly 20 years due to the terror attacks in London.
Following the tragic 7/7 attack in 2005, which left 52 people dead and over 700 injured after four Islamic militants detonated a bus and the underground, the 35-year-old musician experienced anguish and worry.
The worst terror attack in British history involved three explosives going off within fifty seconds of one another. Adele, who currently resides in Los Angeles, spoke to the audience during her Las Vegas residency this week and shared her story of how, on a recent journey home, she finally conquered her fear of the underground.
The celebrity talked about how she worked up the guts to take public transportation once more or risk missing an ABBA-themed party at the 02 in December.

Overcoming her fear, she went to Abba's Mamma Mia The Party at north Greenwich's 02 Arena.
Adele clarified, saying, "I wasn't even afraid to ride the tube. I adored it. It brought back memories of my adolescence. "I haven't actually taken the subway."
"So it was Friday night and I had an appointment before. So I had to get there in like 45 minutes and it's like a two hour drive really in traffic. 'So I had to get on the tube, on my appointment required me to be in full hair and makeup. So I very much looked like Adele the singer. 'I got on the tube and I had a mask on. I did have lots of security guards with me in fairness and a few friends, but we were all very under the radar and I felt right at home. You'll never guess what happened, but I f***ing fell asleep!," she detailed.
Speaking live at her residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Adele said that she was able to overcome her worries by making the last-minute trip to her event.
"Anyways I loved it. And then I got to the O2 and I had to walk through thousands and thousands of people." She added, "People started recognising me then, but I was f****ing out of time.'" Adele stated that she is performing in Vegas again as part of the final leg of her tour, which concludes in June, and that this is helping her mental health because she is happier than ever in her personal life.
The Grammy winner acknowledged in front of a packed house that her physical well-being has long been hampered by her mental health. And now that her family life and job are so great, she is determined to get in incredible shape by 2024.
