Jamaican artist Shenseea delivers a new song "Hit & Run" with Masicka. The song is about not getting attached to a sexual partner. The "Can't Anymore" singer says throughout the song that she believes that it's better to have one-night stands than settle down.
The lyric, "You think you coulda get inna my feelings? (Nah)/ You couldn't get me fi sekkle down (Sekkle down)/Me give you a hit and run (Run)" talks about how she doesn't let others in and won't settle down.
Masicka's lyrics are about the opposite. He sings, "Long story short, your pus**good and done/
Heaven me see when you pull your drawers down/Call, call your phone, me want some/Dial tone again, your heart numb/A wicked, a wicked 'bout hit and run." This verse references how he fell for her when they were intimate, but when he tries to reach out to see her again she doesn't answer because she is not interested.
The song has reached Youtube's charts and currently stands at #15 in trending music. Many listeners are impressed with the singer.
