Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship is one of the hottest topic in media right now, and everyone who has an in their relationship is subjected to constant questions about it--even the NFL star's father was not spared.
"Taylor walks in with a security guy, and I look at her, and I say [to my girlfriend] 'Oh my god, I know this kid, but I don't know what her name is,'" Kelce admitted during his appearance at Audacy "92.3 The Fan" radio show.
"Jeez, you know, like a real idiot. And [my girlfriend] says, 'You don't know her? This is Taylor Swift, you idiot.'"
It seems like Kelce would not be forgetting Swift's name anytime soon, since his son, Travis, is dating her, and she has established herself in the Kelces' inner circle.

Elsewhere in his interview, Kelce clarified that there is nothing personal about forgetting Swift's name before.
He wrote it off as aging since he cannot seem to remember several of Travis' friends' names as well.
"When Travis has a lot of friends coming into town to the game, everyone meets at his house, although he's not there because he's with the team," Kelce added.

Kelce is no stranger to successful careers, as both his sons, Travis and Jason, are successful and prominent in football, this is probably why he thinks the "Cruel Summer" singer's success is well-deserved.
"I think she's out there following her passion," Kelce said of the Grammy-nominated artist. "doing what she knows and what she enjoys, and people are just throwing money at her, you know what I mean?"
According to reports, Travis also revealed recently that his father has been getting to know Swift more these days--in fact, Kelce has been listening to Swift's music.
"You can see in this picture all he's doing is just pumping her up," Travis said during his podcast "New Heights," alongside Jason. "He's started listening to her music a little more."
In a different interview, Kelce said this about the "All Too Well" singer: "We're sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around.
"Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can. ... She doesn't know how to pull that [spoiled musician] off. And that really to me said a whole lot."
