Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's silence on the marriage issues buzz led the public to think they would divorce soon.
Some Shelton-Stefani's supporters have been wanting to hear the couple's side to confirm their marriage status amid the ongoing buzz surrounding their relationship. Others, on the other hand, defended them and asked the public not to spread unconfirmed news.
While Shelton and Stefani keep mum on the alleged issues, the public compiled the reported "signs" of their failing marriage.
Are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani Heading for Divorce?
The Sun compiled the clues Shelton and Stefani's fans reportedly noticed over the past weeks, reportedly suggesting their marriage might come to an end.
The first clue was their New Year's Eve celebrations, during which they fueled the speculations after missing the holidays because of their respective gigs.
The gossip intensified when the "Don't Speak" singer seemingly deleted photos of Shelton from her social media pages.
One of her posts received comments from worried fans, asking Stefani what happened to them.
"What happened to all the videos of you and Blake?" one asked, while another responded, "I haven't seen them either!"
Following the publication of the reports, a source told Life & Style that their marriage was definitely in trouble.
"Lately, they've been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time," the source said. "The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result."
More clues reportedly emerged, including the pair's non-stop promotions of their careers and businesses without publicly showing their support for each other.
In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel in November, Shelton seemingly hinted at their lack of time as he disclosed that he quit "The Voice" since he wanted more time with his wife. However, Stefani opted to continue her stint.
"I think I'd actually put out there to the press too because everybody wants to know, 'Why are you quitting? Why are you walking away from the show?' And it's like, 'Well, for the family, for more family time,'" he said. "And then the very next announcement is, 'Gwen's coming back!'"
Shelton officially announced his exit in October 2022.
The marriage troubles buzz, however, should be taken with a grain of salt as the couple has yet to address them all at once.
