Although Nicki Minaj has never shied away from controversy, which is what endeared her to her fans in the first place, some Barbz think she's now changed to a different person and they do not like it.
Some fans are distancing themselves from the self-described Queen of Rap due to her ongoing spat with Megan Thee Stallion.
All because when she hits back, she hits hard and sometimes, she hits low.
Everything began on Friday when Megan dropped her brand-new song, "Hiss."
Megan's Law, which shields civilians from sexual predators, especially children, was mentioned in the ferocious song. Megan didn't identify anyone in the song, but Minaj read this line as a jab at her husband Kenneth Petty, who entered a guilty plea for trying to rape a 16-year-old girl in 1995 when he was also 16 years old. The sex offender registration for New York state states that Petty used a "knife/cutting instrument" against his victim.
Minaj responded by making fun of Megan's height and her gunshot wound with a freestyle rap on Instagram Live that went, "Bad bitch she like six foot / I call her big foot / The bitch fell off / I said get up on your good foot."

It can be recalled that rapper Tory Lanez received a ten-year prison sentence last year for shooting Megan in the foot.
Megan has been transparent about the physical and emotional harm the assault caused her. It does not stop here. Minaj hasn't stopped posting on X (previously Twitter).
She has brought up Megan's height, foot, and mother, who passed away from brain cancer in 2019, a lot. She has also liked and reshared postings that make fun of Megan, such the one that mixed video of Megan limping on the street following her shooting with a freestyle song by Minaj.
Minaj even went so far as to associate herself with right-wing news analyst Ben Shapiro, who just dropped a mocking diss song about liberals and "woke Karens."
At last, on Sunday evening, Minaj released a brand-new song called "Big Foot." Though she insisted it's not a "diss track," she used a picture of Megan sobbing to promote the release. The song does indeed make fun of Megan's mother, her looks, and her alleged cheater, Pardison "Pardi" Fontaine, who was once her boyfriend.
Being one of the most well-known and innovative hip-hop artists, Minaj has a devoted following. "Barbz," her most ardent fans, has enthusiastically pushed "Big Foot" and applauded Minaj's unwavering stance. Some even issued death threats to those who would dare speak ill of Minaj - with Ruby Rose being an innocent victim of it all.
Some, though, have expressed worry, distress, or newly discovered contempt in response to this fight.
Some said they could no longer recognize the star they once idolized. Others said despite her influence in the rap industry and how she paved things for female rappers, her most recent actions are very questionable and disappointing.
