Megan Thee Stallion announced that she will be having her very first summer world tour in 2024, after she releases her new album.
The announcement comes days after Megan Thee Stallion dissed Nicki Minaj in her new song, "HISS," which erupted into a full-blown feud between the two of them.
Megan Thee Stallion Tour 2024 Announced
Sharing to Good Morning America, Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she would be embarking on a tour this coming summer.
"Oh, we're having the tour this year. The Hot Girl Summer Tour is gonna be 2024 summer time. I feel like I've never been able to be outside during my early days during the summer since 2019. So this is gonna be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer. I do want to give the Hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience," she announced.
Rolling Stone noted that the segment was pre-recorded a week ago, at the same time as her New York Instagram update. She has since released "Hiss" which infamously dissed Nicki Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty.
The publication noted that ironically, Megan named her upcoming tour, "Hot Girl Summer," her collaborative track with Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign in 2019 that catapulted her to stardom.
Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj Feud
Since releasing "HISS," Nicki Minaj has retaliated by calling out Megan Thee Stallion on social media.
She has also released "Big Foot," namechecking Megan Thee Stallion and her dirty laundries. She alleged that Megan cheated on her late mother's boyfriend after the former's death, among many others. Minaj also took a snipe on Megan's infamous 2020 shooting incident at Kylie Jenner's party.
Nicki Minaj's "Big Foot" made history recently after it became the biggest debut by a female rapper on Spotify and Apple Music.
Meanwhile, fans of Nicki Minaj, the Barbz, and Megan Thee Stallion, have been on a rampage on Twitter, defending their idols.
On the other hand, Richard Kanka, the father of Megan Kanka' from whom the term "Megan's Law" was derived, expressed how he felt "disrespected" by Megan Thee Stallion for using the term which still brings them hate to date, in a song filled with expletive.
The Kanka Family has threatened Megan Thee Stallion with a lawsuit because of the disrespect they have felt. Megan Thee Stallion's "Megan's Law" verse is the line Nicki Minaj perceived to be a jab against her and her husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender.
