During his show in New York City, Justin Timberlake seemingly threw shade at Britney Spears' apology to him, which sparked the ire of the "Ops I Did It Again" singer's fans.
"I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f**king nobody," Timberlake said during the show.
This came a few days after Spears issued an indirect apology to the "Cry Me a River" singer on her Instagram post.
"I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry..." Spears wrote.
In addition to that Spears hyped up Timberlake's new song 'Slefish" and his recent appearance on " Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show."
Justin Timberlake Faces Backlash Again
Netizens flocked over to social media to express their disappointment with Timberlake.
'This kind of "I don't care" attitude is only cute when you've actually done nothing wrong," one wrote.
"Someone tell him we are in 2024 and not 2002."
"This rat always makes his situation worse...He knows that the Britney vs Justin trend is popular and he tries to ride it. We are giving him free promo. Someone tell him that his new single is flopping miserably, a Britney's bonus track outsold him and that it's not 2002 anymore!"
"What a f**king clown. Already deleted his music off my library."
"This man really thinks he's doing something. Go home you're washed up," another wrote.

Did Justin Timberlake Already Apologise to Britney Spears?
According to reports., Timberlake and Spears have reconciled and mended their differences as per *NSYNC member Lance Bass.
The boy bander insisted that Spears mentioning her ex-byofriend in her memoir, "The Woman In Me" was not to spite him and "that was the past".
"They don't care. They are good," Bass continued, "Well, the problem is they've already sorted it out and everyone just forgets."
However, fans are unconvinced and they are still coming after the singer.
"Bet he'll apologize when he sees them charts and sales though," one wrote, noting about Timberlake's upcoming album.
"He deserves every hateful word that comes to him."
"He wanna have a controversial moment so bad baby you're Justin Timberlake."
"Digusting human being."
