Band Dead & Company will perform at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada. The American rock band is expected to perform during May and June of 2024 for a select period of time.

Dead & Company which was created in 2015 was one of the more successful of Grateful Dead's reincarnation after the original band didn't work out following Jerry Garcia's death in 1995. The band has changed their group members throughout the years, but the current members are Bob Weir, fellow Grateful Dead member Mickey Hart, Oteil Burbridge and "Gravity" singer John Mayer.

According to SFG, "Bill Kreutzmann, a founding member of the Grateful Dead, had been part of Dead & Company, but dropped out of the farewell tour due to 'a shift in creative direction.'

The Sphere, which bills itself as "a world-first immersive destination," opened in September 2023 to much fanfare with U2's record-setting residency. The Irish rockers' run at the venue will continue through March 2, followed by a four-show stint from jam band Phish from April 18 to 21."
