The water is boiling again after Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears' renewed spat.

On Wednesday, January 31, night, Timberlake told his fans at his New York City concert that he would "like to take this opportunity to apologize - to absolutely f------ nobody" after Spears apologized for the comments she included in her book, "The Woman in Me."

While the *NSYNC member did not mention anyone, social media users lambasted him as they said he clearly aimed at the "Toxic" singer when he made his recent comment.

Justin Timberlake Under Fire for His "Immature" Statement

X users called for #CancelJustinTimberlake after the "What Goes Around... Comes Around" singer's statement, and Spears' fans also defended her against her ex-boyfriend.

"just another immature, shady and insecure a-- male," one said, while another wrote, "He is such a pompous d-----b--, even after Britney was kind to him & apologized without actually needing to. #RespectBritney."

A third chimed in, "Ok when you read the latest on #JustinTimberlake and @britneyspears, one's gotta ask...is Justin trying to experience cancel culture? He clearly hasn't met Gen Z or Alpha! Please tell this Ken to take the high road. She went there first which demonstrates she's the bigger person."

"Absolutely disgusting that in 2024 and after Britney literally promoted his trashy song, this a------ Justin Timberlake is shading her," another shared on the platform. "Britney didn't even need to apologize about her single outselling and outcharting his comeback but here he is being a sore loser as always.

Britney Spears Claps Back at Justin Timberlake?

As soon as the clip from Timberlake's concert went viral, the "Oops!.. I Did It Again" singer seemingly responded to her ex after learning that "someone was talking s---" about her.

"Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time ??? I'm not sorry !!!" she asked.

Before the new issue, Spears appeared to have hinted at their reconciliation when she penned an apology statement on Instagram. At that time, she apologized to the people she offended when she wrote her book.

The post in question has since been deleted.
