Fears about Taylor Swift's safety emerged a few months before the 2024 presidential election.
Former U.S. President Donald Trump declared he is more popular than Swift amid reports that the singer would support and endorse current POTUS Joe Biden. While the "Anti-Hero" singer has yet to share her pick, the public started to feel concerned about her safety after a source told Rolling Stone that Trump's allies and supporters would launch a holy war against Swift.

On X, users shared their fears as Swift could need to intensify her security and add more security during her Eras tour.
One said, "This situation, drummed up by the MAGA crowd, is getting uglier and uglier. I actually fear for this talented young woman's safety. MAGA is upset because she is more powerful than Trump."
"Stop posting/tweeting Taylor Swift news. Come on! This is for her safety. Trump's followers are crazy," another pleaded.
"And this is why I expressed strong concerns for the safety of Taylor Swift especially since Trump has put a target on her back," a third wrote. "If one of these weirdos can kill their own father over some lunatic nonsense..."

Experts and individuals shared similar sentiments to The Mirror, including a former bodyguard of Michael Jackson, Simon Newton.
He told the media outlet that, despite the risks and fears, it would still be safe for Swift to perform.
"Her security will have to take her involvement in the elections into account and at certain times throughout the coming weeks possibly have to take extra security precautions," he continued.
Swift's team would also need to focus on the active treats, though they should not be too worried for now.
For what it's worth, the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer also aimed at Trump during the 2020 election when she accused him of attempting to "blatantly cheat and put millions of Americans' lives at risk."
Her potential endorsement of Biden could reportedly fuel the spat.
"Another left-wing celebrity who is part of the Democrat elite telling you what to think," the insider told Rolling Stone.
Meanwhile, a poll by Redfield & Wilton Strategies showed Swift could sway voters once she endorsed a candidate.
