Usher has disclosed that JAY-Z, Diddy, and Pharrell Williams were going be in a supergroup with him.

The "Caught Up" hitmaker, who will perform at the Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show on February 11, has disclosed that the four artists were too "distracted" and too "caught up in the moment" to finish their project.

He revealed details of the failed partnership when he appeared on "Club Shay Shay," saying, "You gon' hate me for this one."

"JAY-Z, Pharrell, Diddy, and me was supposed to be a group. Yeah, that's crazy. You gon' hate me for that I know," he shared.

He went on, "We was talking about it and having secret meetings about it, talking about music and how we gon' flip it." "The business of it. And somehow man, we just got distracted. And it never happened. That's the one that I actually wish would have happened."

Usher has worked with each of the three separately; on the songs "U Don't Have to Call," "Hot Tottie," and "I Need a Girl (Part One)" with Diddy, the "Love In This Club" hitmaker teamed up with Pharell. Jay collaborated with Pharrell's Neptunes on the songs "Excuse Me Miss" and "Frontin" as well.

In the meantime, Usher has released the star-studded track list for his brand-new album, "Coming Home."

After Summer Walker and 21 Savage's "Good Good," H.E.R.'s "Risk It All," and BTS's Jungkook's "Standing Next To You (Remix)" were released, the R&B icon disclosed that the 20-track album also includes the title track with Burna Boy, "A-Town Girl" with Latto, "Cold Blooded" with The-Dream, and "Ruin" with Pheelz.

He posted the following on Instagram, along with the list: "U been asking... So I had to deliver." The release date is February 9, which is two days before to his Super Bowl performance.

Usher's first studio album since 2018's "A," a joint album with Zaytoven, is "Coming Home," his first solo release in almost eight years since "Hard II Love" in 2016.
