At the Grammy Awards 2024 on Sunday night, Taylor Swift demonstrated that she and Olivia Rodrigo are actually in good terms, ending long-running allegations of a falling out. Naturally, there are those who believe this is all just for show.
When Rodrigo, 20, played her hit song "Vampire" live in front of an audience at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, cameras caught 34-year-old Swift joyfully dancing along. It was speculated one time that this track is Rodrigo's diss track for Swift, branding her a blood-sucking vampire.
In fact, the singer of "Cruel Summer" was among the few who stood up during the singer's "Bad Idea Right?" performance of her song.
Swift mouthed the lyrics while dancing to the song and wearing a white Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown. With blood streaming down her arms, Rodrigo, wearing a red dress and matching lip, sang her Grammy-nominated song with ease.
Swift raised her arms, covered in gloves, in an ecstatic clap as the performance came to an end. As a sweet gesture, Rodrigo cheered for the pop sensation when she won her 13th Grammy for best pop vocal album and revealed that a new record was on the way.

Feud rumors were stoked once more in the run-up to the biggest night in music, according to a source who told us recently that extra effort was being made behind the scenes to avoid embarrassing seating arrangements.
A knowledgeable music insider told Page Six on Saturday, "They're both huge stars, so they'll both be in the front row - but I can't see them being too close together." It was thought that Rodrigo, who had previously referred to Swift as her "hero," and Swift had grown distant from one another when Rodrigo was compelled to grant Swift and her partner Jack Antonoff songwriter credit for two tracks from her album "Sour." I
t was discovered that Swift's songs "New Years Day" and "Cruel Summer" were similar to hers, "Step Forward, 3 Steps Back" and "Deja Vu," respectively.
But in September of last year, Rodrigo said to Rolling Stone, "I don't have beef with anyone," in response to a question about the conflict. "I'm very chill. I keep to myself. I have my four friends and my mom, and that's really the only people I talk to, ever. There's nothing to say." She concluded at the time, "There's so many Twitter conspiracy theories. I only look at alien-conspiracy theories."
