Doja Cat was denied filing a permanent restraining order against her brother, Raman Dlamini, despite reports that he physically and verbally abused her, stole, and destroyed her property.
According to reports, their mother Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer was the first one to file a temporary restraining order against Dlamini a month ago, and it was granted.
She then filed a permanent restraining order later on, citing that her son endangered her grandson, Dlamini's 13-year-old son, Miles.
The judge granted Sawyer custody of Miles, naming her the legal guardian, and the permanent restraining order.
While Sawyer and Miles are now in the clear, at least legally, against Dlamini, Doja Cat is not.
Doja Cat Denied Of Permanent Restraining Order Against Brother
Sources close to the "Paint the Town Red" hitmaker noted that she does not feel safe around her brother and that the restraining order was very much needed in her case.
"In a very degrading and demeaning [manner]... [Raman has made Doja feel] unsafe and traumatized," the filing read.
"He has made so many comments that are so deeply hurtful and offensive that I feel I have had to block them from memory just to go on day after day," Sawyer claimed.
On top of that, the rapper's mother also alleged that Dlamini used manipulative tactics to extort money.
Dlamini will not be allowed to come near Sawyer and his son or make contact with them for five years.

Doja Cat's Mother Champions Her
Throughout the legal battle, Doja Cat has not uttered a single thing about her abuse.
Sawyer has constantly and consistently championed the rapper; she even noted that Dlamini punched Doja Cat so hard he almost "knocked out" her teeth.
Meanwhile, Dlamini has not shown up for the court proceedings, and he denies any of his mother's accusations.
Doja Cat's fans remain worried for her, and questioned the judge's decision not to include her in the permanent restraining order.
"So many woman have stories of their brothers abusing them. It's really sad. [Shaking my head]."
"This is really sad. Lock him UP! Also, wow it's kinda f**ked up that I was pleasantly surprised to see a mother protecting a daughter from a son."
"I cannot stand abusive brothers my goodness this makes me nauseous."
"Sorry to Doja and her mum."
