Addison Rae has cemented her legacy as a TikTok influencer-turned-recording artist with the release of her debut EP, "AR."
Rae got her taste of superstardom in TikTok, but she has expanded her influence beyond the four corners of a phone screen when she began acting and singing.
"It's been a joy and so exciting and so fulfilling and rewarding, and I feel like it's always so nice to just put something out," the 23-year-old said.
The influencer slash singer dropped her debut EP in August 2023, two years after dropping her very first single "Obsessed" in 2021. The song peaked at No. 10 on the Bubbling Under 100 chart.
The song was leaked online, but it came an instant hit. Rae admitted that she was astounded, and still could not comprehend its success.
"I still have no idea how that happened, but everything happens for a reason. After the songs surfaced online, unbeknownst to me, I was like, 'Oh, I wish there was a way that I could have these out,'" she said about starting her music career.
Addison Rae Used a Lady Gaga Demo
Rae's recently released EP includes several songs that went viral on TikTok, the very same app that she dominates, including a Lady Gaga demo that was left unreleased called "Nothing On (But the Radio)."
"I'm obviously the biggest Lady Gaga fan. She's always been such a pioneer for pop and experimenting," Rae said.
"I would love to know if she heard it. It's such a different version than hers, so it would be interesting [to know] what she thinks."

Addison Rae Teases More Music
Following the EP's success, the singer admitted that she has gotten more inspiration to return to making and releasing music.
In fact, she teased new music coming soon, "I'm always in the studio, so we'll see what happens...I definitely want to bring them all to life."
"AR" includes "I Got It Bad," "2 Die 4" featuring Charli XCX, "Nothing On (But the Radio)," "It Could've Been U," and "Obsessed" as a bonus track in the Spotify edition.
"I love those songs so much. They're such a huge part of my life," Rae explained.
The singer has not closed her doors on releasing more music, in fact, it seems like she is only beginning with her music releases.
