Beyonce announced "Act II" of her "Renaissance" album and it is rumored that this album will be a country album released March 29.

In a Verizon ad posted to the singer's Instagram, Beyonce can be seen scrolling through songs on an iPhone, then at a lemonade stand, with a series of plays on her name: "Barbey," referring to Barbie, "BOTUS" meaning she'll be the first female president and be the first woman to launch the first rocket for the first woman in space.

Fans have been itching for new music from Beyoncé since the release of "Renaissance" in 2022. Back then, her website said that the album would be the first of a "three-act project." The first album of the three-part series ended up being dance and house music, referencing the Black queer community and club culture. But, it was rumored that she had recorded country songs for "Renaissance" or as a separate album.

Shortly after that, two songs were released on streaming services - first on Tidal, interestingly, since Beyonce and Jay-Z are seated with primary owner Jack Dorsey at the Super Bowl - and they are indeed country-themed. The first song, "Texas Hold 'Em" is almost entirely acoustic guitars, bass drum and vocals, with a chorus while the second song, "16 Carriages" is country-esque on the verses but transitions into an orchestral arrangement on each chorus.

After uploading these two songs, Beyonce is now the first Black female artist to top the Apple Music Country charts as well as hold the first and second position on the chart. To listen to Beyonce's new songs, go to https://www.beyonce.com/.
