Post Malone is no stranger in front of the cameras, aside from being one of the most beloved rappers in the music industry, he is also a burgeoning actor.

This is probably why he earned nothing but praise from his "Road House" co-star, Jake Gyllenhaal: "A man of many talents."

"To say it was a pleasure working together is an understatement. Welcome to the ['Road House'], [Post Malone]," the "Love & Other Drugs" star wrote in a social media update.

The pair are starring in the Prime Video remake of the 1989 film, "Road House," starring Patrick Swayze.

It seems like the pair have formed a friendship while they were filming the upcoming film, which is slated for release on Mar. 21.

Post Malone's Acting Career

Gyllenhaal's post was met with support from other "Road House" stars, as well as the film's official Instagram account.

"Stoked to have him on the team," wrote the "Road House" official Instagram account.

"Absolutely epic! That night was one for the books for sure," added Garrett Warren, the film's director.

According to reports, aside from the 'Sunflower" hitmaker and Gyllenhaal, the film also stars UFC star Conor McGregor, Lukas Gage, Jessica Williams, Billy Magnussen, Daniella Melchoir, and more.

This is but another film under Malone's belt, who has been cast in several films since 2018, including Jennifer Lopez's recently released "This Is Me... Now: A Love Story," "Super-Man: Across The Spider-Verse" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem" in 2023, "Wrath of Man" in 2021, "Spenser Confidential" in 2020, "Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse" in 2018.

Malone will also be included in an upcoming Christmas comedy film "Dear Santa."

Post Malone's Music Career Rises

Malone recently released his fifth studio album, "Austin" on Jul. 28, 2023, which produced several singles, "Chemical," "Mourning," "Overdrive," and "Enough Is Enough."

He also just finished his "If Y'all Weren't Here, I'd Be Crying" tour in support of the album; it kicked off on Jul 8, 2023, and wrapped up on Dec. 3, 2023, with 44 shows and four legs across the globe.

He made stops in Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, New Zealand, and Australia.

Aside from dabbling in acting, Malone has also begun working on country music, on top of releasing hip-hop music, reports say.
