A shooting that occurred during the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl parade has been verified by the police in Kansas City. One of the first thing people did was link the whole thing to Taylor Swift.

Police in Kansas City issued the following statement:

"At the conclusion of the rally there were shots fired west of Union Station near the garage and several people were struck. There have been 2 armed people detained for more investigation. We need people to exit the area as quickly and safely as possible and avoid the parking garage in order to facilitate treatment of shooting victims. Many of you have footage of many officers securing union station, they are working to provide for the safety of everyone inside union station and expedite care of those injured."

Some fans have questioned if Taylor Swift attended.

The media verified that Swift was in Australia just a few hours before the Chiefs' Super Bowl parade.

ET confirmed that Swift arrived in Melbourne, Australia, Wednesday morning to kick off the highly anticipated Australian leg of her popular Eras Tour.

The star who just flew from Tokyo to the US for the Super Bowl and witness her BF's team win, made the trip on to Australia on her private jet with just enough time to get over any jet lag before she serves her Aussie fans on a Friday night concert.

Obviously, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift did not spend Valentine's together. Now she has to deal with all these.

Amid this chaos, crazy attention remains to be at Taylor Swift. All because she became one of the players' girlfriend.

Moreover, some claimed that the whole thing can be blamed on her - not just because she made the NFL and the SuperBowl a more hyped up event this year, but because Trump supporters are out to get her.

X users are debating whether she's the real target in this shooting, while others said its crazy to link this to any conspiracy theory. Unbelievably, some even said Swift is the one who ordered this to happen and the fact that she's not there makes it a convenient thing to do. Uh?

Patrick Mahomes and members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization already spoke up after multiple people were injured and 1 died during a shooting following the Chiefs Super Bowl LVIII victory parade.

Mahomes took to X (formerly Twitter) shortly after the shooting, writing that he was "Praying for Kansas City..."

His wife, Brittany, also spoke out on her Instagram story.

"Shooting people is never the answer," "Praying for Kansas City & America in general, this is rough."
