Ryan Adams and his band had David Letterman feeling some type of way after their nationally-televised performance of "Gimme Something Good" on Thursday night.
"C'mon!" Letterman yelled. "What do you want? Oh my God, is that nice. Oh my goodness. Ryan — Great pleasure."
After praising Adams with Late Show band leader Paul Shaffer, Letterman decided he wanted a double dose.
"Just a little bit more?" He pleaded. "Just a little bit more, right now? Same thing, just a little bit more?"
A bit taken aback by the request, Adams and his band broke into the same song again, seemingly bemused.

The singer's 14th album, Ryan Adams, dropped Sept. 9, and he just announced three new tour dates (one in Austin, two in New York) to go along with the dozens of gigs already set in stone.
Adams has been keeping very busy. He dropped a hilarious promotional video on Monday, and had been pushing a couple singles — "Gimme Something Good" and "My Wrecking Ball" — in advance of the LP.
Recently, he sat down with NPR to discuss the new music.
"When people come to the studio, they can listen to records; we have manual typewriters and stationery and reference books for them to look at, and lots of old-fashioned '60s and '70s pulp magazines," he said. "All kinds of stuff to sort of inspire someone, should they be in the middle of a process and need that."
