Lil Jon has finally shared the truth behind Justin Bieber's absence from Usher's Super Bowl halftime show.
Speculations were running high, with many expecting the "Peaches" singer to appear surprised alongside his long-time mentor and collaborator.
Justin Bieber Set Up to Fail Super Bowl Halftime Show?
During a recent conversation with TMZ, Lil Jon discussed the exciting prospect of incorporating Justin into the show that he and Usher performed together on Super Bowl Sunday.
"We wanted to put Justin in the show, so we had the idea of doing a version of the show with Justin in it."
"But I think Justin just wasn't ready to have a lot of rehearsal, a lot of responsibility, a lot of time and eyeballs. I don't know if he was ready to do all that, you know?"
Lil Jon, whose real name is Jonathan Smith, added, "I mean, he definitely was there supporting Ush and they're really good friends and he was supporting him."
But Lil Jon realized that the extensive period of readiness could potentially overwhelm Justin Bieber at this moment.
"It's a lot of time you must dedicate to being in a show like this," the record producer explained. "It's not just okay, just go do one rehearsal then you get on stage. Just a lot of time's dedicated - so I don't think he was ready for all that."
One of the rumors about Justin Bieber's absence from the Super Bowl performance was he allegedly chose not to perform due to "not feeling it."
The "Shots" hitmaker also made a powerful statement, reflecting on the unforgettable experience
He expressed gratitude towards someone who played a crucial role in their journey. Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R., Will.i.Am graced the Super Bowl halftime stage alongside Usher and Lil Jon.

Justin's Struggles
Justin Bieber made a long-awaited comeback by performing live in front of a public audience for the first time in two years, for the first time this month.
This captivating performance occurred during the NHL All-Star Weekend, marking a significant moment in the former YouTube sensation's career.
The "Sorry" singer's extended absence from the stage can be traced back to the unfortunate cancellation of his highly anticipated "Justice World Tour" due to health concerns.
Initially, Justin postponed his shows in September 2022, hoping to overcome the challenges he faced.
