Beyoncé has been making rounds online as she enters a new era of music that revolves around the genre of country. Although fans have rejoiced over her two new singles, not everyone was happy; what happened?
According to Taste of Country, actor John Schneider, popularly known for starring on "Dukes of Hazzard," expressed his disappointment over the singer's new song "Texas Hold 'Em."
The actor spoke in an interview with One America News Network where he agreed with the host of the segment after they tackled the controversy that happened after one of Beyoncé's fans claimed that a country radio station in Oklahoma refused to play her new track.
"The lefties in the entertainment industry just won't leave any area alone, right? They just have to seize control over every aspect, don't they?" the host of the segment said.

Schneider later responded by comparing Beyoncé releasing a country song to a dog marking a new territory.
"They've got to make their mark, just like a dog in a dog walk park... You know, every dog has to mark every tree, right? So that's what's going on here," he added.

Beyoncé, Country Radio Stations Controversy
The recent news comes a few days after a fan on Twitter expressed their disappointment as they claimed that the country radio station in their city, KYKC in Ada, Oklahoma, refused to play Beyoncé's "Texas Hold 'Em."
The user shared a screenshot of an email from the station, which said that they "do not play Beyonce" because their radio station revolves around the genre of country.
The fan added that the station should be held accountable for "their blatant racism and discrimination against Beyoncé."
A news outlet then reached out to KYKC for clarification and they revealed that the requested song has yet to arrive on their station, which meant that they couldn't play it yet.
In other updates about Beyoncé, the singer dropped two new songs titled "Texas Hold 'Em" and "16 Carriages" on the same day after her commercial with Verizon for the Super Bowl aired.
She then announced the second act of her album, the follow-up to her 2022 "Renaissance" record. The new project will be available for streaming on major music platforms starting on March 29, 2024.
