Fans can't wait for Lady Gaga to release her seventh solo studio album as she has been sharing teasers all over social media for the past few weeks. Amid the fan speculation about what genre her next project would be, the musician finally clarified and gave a hint about what the record would sound like.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the Grammy Award-winning singer shared a photo of herself sitting on what appears to be a small bed while playing an electric guitar.
People have been sharing their theories online about the potential genre that Gaga's next album would be, but the singer herself clarified it in the caption.
"No I'm not making a rock album," she wrote.
As of this writing, Gaga has yet to share more information about the album, but she keeps on updating fans by sharing photos on social media.
She also shared an image of herself playing the piano while singing, while another one shows the singer's selfie, in which she captioned: "There's a rat in the studio."
Is Lady Gaga Doing Jazz on Her Next Album?
Fans have shared their conspiracies on social media platforms about what the next genre of Gaga's album would be as they base it on her clothes and the people she works with.
One user shared a photo of the singer along with musicians and one person in the image appears to be holding a trumpet, an instrument often used in Jazz music.
In addition, jazz musician Brian Newman also commented on one of the singer's post, writing: "Let's GO!"
Fans will have to wait for further announcements to find out what the next project would sound like. If ever the singer releases her new album, this would be the follow-up to her 2020 record "Chromatica" which contained hit tracks like "Rain On Me" with Ariana Grande, "911," "Stupid Love," and more.
Lady Gaga Super Bowl Weekend
Last weekend, Lady Gaga performed at a private concert before the Super Bowl where she belted out some of her hit songs through the years but in a jazz/acoustic rendition.
It was previously reported that the set is reminiscent of her "Jazz & Piano" residency at Park Theater at Park MGM in Las Vegas.
During the Super Bowl at the Allegiant Stadium, Gaga was also present to support the San Francisco 49ers. She was spotted with her boyfriend Michael Polansky.
