Usher's Super Bowl Halftime Show was successful as he set the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, on fire with his impressive performance, dance skills, as well as teaming up with his former collaborators like Alicia Keys, Lil Jon, H.E.R., and more.
However, Justin Bieber, who was rumored to be a part of the program for weeks, didn't perform on stage with him which led to many fans being disappointed; what happened?
More recently, the R&B legend finally broke his silence about his good pal's absence from his performance and explained that he did invite Bieber to join him.
In an interview with iHeartRadio's "Breakfast Club," he told the hosts that "it didn't work out" with him and his former protégé.
"I honor and recognize that my brother, I think that it might've been the fact that he's just wanting to tell a different story right now. And I understand that," he explained. (via Billboard)
