Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship is designed to go bust - that is what current analysts say. The cute names they have for each other, the heartwarming murmurs while hugging during the Super Bowl? None of these would stand the test of time. At least, that's what insiders who know how Taylor Swift operates are saying.
Is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship already in trouble?
According to Daily Mail UK, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are said to have likely lost their once-sparkling future due to a very public outburst of wrath, alcoholism, and an incredibly insensitive decision to party hard.
After appearing too drunk to speak during the parade stage, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce decided it was a great idea to go to 'Granfalloon Restaurant and Bar' and take selfies with police while holding an open beer bottle on the street, just hours after 22 fans were shot, nine of whom were children and one of whom was a young mother.
Fans who were incensed used the terms "douchebag" and "caveman" on social media to describe the athlete. Even being the boyfriend of the most well-loved music personality right now is not a shield for him. This makes people more critical of his every action.
But analysts claimed that Taylor Swift herself would be critical of Travis Kelce - and drop him if he's going to end up tainting her name and reputation.
Swift's Reputation on The Line
Swifties will not permit anything or anyone to damage her painstakingly built reputation. According to these experts, bodies litter her songs, ex-boyfriends are blamed for bad behavior, and her canon is based on victimhood, failed relationships, and the recovery of her "power."
She is now a billionaire, thanks to this story arc. Who believes Swift will ruin her reputation for some shady football player she elevated to international prominence?
Swift's team is also very attuned to what people are saying online. Case in point, after she was accused of being unbothered by the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs' Victory parade, even though she has a perfect reason (she's in Australia - and had just spent weeks flying around, to say the least!), she quickly made a move to ensure that people would know she's not at all "unbothered."
Taylor Swift noticed a GoFundMe page for the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, the lady who was shot and murdered at the Kansas City Chiefs victory parade, and she contributed $100,000 early on Friday morning. The "Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan Memorial" page was created on Thursday afternoon to help the 44-year-old gunshot victim's family by raising $75,000.
When Swift exceeded the goal early on Friday morning, with a $50,000 gift eight minutes after the first and another donation of the same amount eight minutes after that, almost 1,300 people contributed, I'm sending you my sincere thoughts and sorrow following your tragic loss. Love, Taylor Swift," the singer penned.
The first warning sign appeared during the Super Bowl on Sunday when Kelce shoved his 65-year-old coach, Andy Reid, and yelled in front of 125 million fans, his face crimson with rage. But it's a good thing the Kansas City Chiefs won, and fans were delivered with photos of them kissing and hugging amidst a congratulatory crowd. Some forgot, but others have not.
