In celebration of her second straight Eras Tour Melbourne series, Taylor Swift gave the greatest gift on Saturday: a very unusual performance marathon. A medley of tracks that people are wondering why she did not perform so much sooner in other tours.
"Getaway Car," "August," and "The Other Side of the Door" Mashup
In all fairness to her though, every show she does throughout her global tour, the pop queen has been heating up unexpected tracks.
The 34-year-old singer surprised everyone by performing a mashup medley of the three songs that her fans love most from her albums, "Reputation," "Folklore," and "Fearless," which each symbolize a different aspect of her three previous artistic eras. The songs are "Getaway Car," "August," and "The Other Side of the Door."
The reactions from her fans are certainly everything.

Observing the Eras Tour, which is the highest-grossing concert tour in history, has been an intriguing experience, even from a distance.
Taylor Swift Captivates Australia
Adapting to each step of Swift's multifaceted career, it's cleverly made for optimal interaction. With the exception of two "surprise songs," Swift performs an almost identical set list every night.
As reported by the Guardian, most fans know precisely what to expect because a concert DVD was published in October (they even learnt all the dances and shouts from TikTok).
At her first of seven Australian shows at the MCG, the energy is electrifying and the excitement is tangible. It's the biggest event of the tour and her career thus far, drawing in 96,000 fans. Throughout and after the play, thousands of strangers instantly become friends.
Female Swifties admire one other's clothing, which are frequently ornate and handmade, and trade handmade friendship bracelets. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that Swift's song, to put it in her own words, "gives me back my girlhood."
The event actually lasts an astounding three and a half hours, but it goes surprisingly quickly. It is an utterly captivating spectacle.
Apparently, Swift is a kind, sincere entertainer.
A lot of what happened while she sings and dances on stage are in tune with what her fans are feeling at the moment. She always shed a few tears too when she surveys the crowd after she sings, as if even all the years she's been performing, she cannot quite believe the love she's receiving.
