Gwen and Blake's Marriage NOT In Trouble?
Suzette emphasized how the "Purple Irises" singers remain resilient in the face of speculations surrounding their relationship, showcasing their unwavering unity.
At the 11th Annual Make-up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS) Awards in Beverly Hills, Suzette highlighted the strong bond and deep affection shared by Gwen, 54, and Blake, 47.
"They're so good together. I mean, they have a new song together. It's a beautiful song together," the hairstylist said.
Amid swirling rumors suggesting trouble in paradise for Gwen and Blake, Suzette shared how the No Doubt front woman is maintaining a positive outlook by blocking out any negativity.
"At the end of the day, you got to kind of ignore what you know is negative and it's just not true," Suzette said. "You stay focused on what you are planning on doing. But it is very hard. Yes, you have to have thick skin."
Speaking about Gwen, Suzette emphasized, "And she's been in the business for a long time, so she does understand."
How The Rumors Started
During New Years Eve, fans of Gwen Stefani started to observe a noticeable decrease in the frequency of Blake Shelton's appearances on her Instagram posts.
"Hey, where did all the videos of you and Blake go?" inquired one curious fan.
Another individual chimed in, "I can confirm I haven't caught a glimpse of them either!"
Following their decision to spend New Year's separately, speculations among their fanbase arose regarding the possible breakup of the two.
Rumors also came about that the couple has been experiencing indifference toward each other due to the significant time they have been spending away from one another.
According to a recent report from Life & Style, a source has revealed that in the last few months, the couple have been noticeably distant from one another.
The source disclosed, "At one point, Gwen and Blake were practically joined at the hip, but things have shifted. Their relationship has been adored by everyone, so hopefully this is just a passing phase."
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton first crossed paths while serving as judges on "The Voice" and eventually got married in 2021.
Their latest romantic song made its debut just a few weeks ago, "Purple Irises," which featured the lyrics, "No I never knew a love like this, now we're picking purple irises."
