Ben Affleck Worried About Jennifer Lopez's Documentary Release

A source revealed to Life & Style (via OK! Magazine) what Affleck has been feeling and thinking about Lopez's latest project.

"The Greatest Love Story Never Told," which will explore their relationship 20 years before and after reuniting and tying the knot.

Per the insider, the "Justice League" star does not understand why his wife would cash out $20 million just to discuss their personal life, increasing the risk of public backlash.

"Ben has gotten very good at biting his tongue, but it's known that he's not happy at all about J.Lo's endless need for attention," the source said.

Affleck loves Lopez so much and reportedly knows what he is getting into. However, he started feeling scared because of his wife's decision to open their relationship to the public.

Affleck already shared his thoughts about publicizing things since marrying Lopez, explaining, "Things that are private I always felt are sacred and special because, in part, they're private. So this was something of an adjustment for me."

For what it's worth, public scrutiny played a huge role in Affleck and Lopez's initial break up in 2003. The pair, who got engaged at that time, planned their wedding only to call it off in the end "due to the excessive media attention" surrounding their big day.

Why Jennifer Lopez Wants To Share Her and Ben Affleck Story Revealed

In "The Greatest Love Story Never Told" trailer, Lopez spoke candidly about her decision to create the documentary - out on Prime Video on February 27.

"I've been married four times now. I used to be terrified of being alone. I didn't know what else to do by myself," she said. "I've decided to tell my story that I've never shared with anybody in the world."

Meanwhile, the project's official synopsis read: "Directed by Jason Bergh, The Greatest Love Story Never Told follows Jennifer Lopez as she attempts her most daring project yet: independently producing a new album and cinematic original that explore her 20-year journey to self-love. Intimate and empowering, the documentary offers unflinching access to Jennifer's most personal moments as she works hard to reclaim her narrative through the making of This Is Me...Now. From interviews with her inner circle, including producing partners and longtime collaborators, to candid home moments, this is a vulnerable portrait of an icon who put it all on the line and discovered a newfound determination in self-acceptance and love."
