Britney Spears was placed under a conservatorship for 13 years, and during that period, she had no power to control her own life, what medications she took, or even her finances. Now that the legal restriction has been lifted, people are still questioning whether she can decide for herself.
The pop star was recently the panel's topic during a recent episode of "The View," where host Sunny Hostin questioned if the singer still suffers nearly two years after the conservatorship ended.
"We've seen a free Britney now after the conservatorship. Is she still suffering? Sometimes I wonder. It seems that she is still suffering," she said.
Co-host Sara Haines later expressed her thoughts, saying, "suffering is going to be inevitable," but she questioned if the 42-year-old pop singer could make decisions for her life.
"Is she capable? Because we've seen some things that have happened that's questionable," Hostin added. (via Page Six)
