Officials from the Alaska State Fair said on Wednesday that multi-Grammy Award-winning musician Ludacris will be returning this autumn, following the announcement that concert tickets sold out in a matter of hours after being made available.
Two days after making his fair debut on August 23, the veteran R&B rapper is set to perform again on Sunday, August 25.
Two hours after general public tickets for the first Ludacris event went on sale, State Fair authorities announced on the fair's Facebook page that all of the tickets had been sold out. State Fair confirmed that his second event will take place at the ConocoPhillips Borealis Theatre on Sunday night at 6 p.m. due to "popular demand."
The Alaska State Fair Facebook page reported before noon on Wednesday that all of the tickets for Ludacris' second act had sold out.
The show began at 10 a.m. Ludacris is joining a lineup of concerts that includes Stephen Sanchez on September 2 and Oliver Anthony on September 19, as well as Mt. Joy on August 19 and Kolohe Kai on August 29.
