Taylor Swift's FIRST Impression of Travis Kelce on 'SNL' Before They Met: 'This guy seems funny!'

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are one of the most talked-about couples in the country right now, especially since their romance began in such a light-hearted and cute way.

While the couple does not share much about how they first linked up, "Saturday Night Live" star Ben Marshall revealed that the "Cruel Summer" hitmaker already found the NFL star hilarious before even meeting him.

"We worked with both Taylor and Travis Kelce before they got together," the comedian began in his appearance on "Working It Out" with Mike Birbiglia.

"So we -- and we can cut this out if you guys don't want to say this - but she kinda told us that she watched his 'SNL' episode, and saw him in our video ... and was like, 'Oh, this guy seems funny.'"

Marshall went on to joke about how "SNL" "brought them together," before adding that he decided to keep the information a secret in fear of backlash from Swift's loyal fans.

"I was thinking about like maybe [sharing that story] on Fallon, and then we were like, 'I think that, if then they ever break up, we will be pinned for causing this disaster,'" he continued. "It's just a very precarious situation because people have such strong feelings."

No reports are confirming when Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end began dating, but the singer explained in her TIMES interview for Person of the Year that her first appearance in one of his football games was not their first meeting.

"This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell," the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter revealed.

"We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I'm grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.

"By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date."

According to reports, the "You Belong With Me" singer and Kelce met in New York for their first date after being introduced to each other by Miles Teller and Kameron Saunders, the brother of Khalen Saunders, who happened to be Kelce's previous teammate.

"I knew we could have a nice dinner and, like, a conversation, and what goes from there will go from there," the football star said.
