Taylor Swift Final ‘Tortured Poets Department’ Variant Announced After Live ‘Long Story Short' Debut

Taylor Swift's Singapore Tour is full of surprises - nice ones, at least!

During her second Eras Tour stop in Singapore on Sunday, Taylor Swift revealed "The Black Dog," the fourth and final version of her upcoming album "The Tortured Poets Department."

Swift unveiled the fourth and final version of her next album, which will be released on April 19, during the Surprise Songs segment of the program, which came after the first live performance of Evermore's "Long Story Short."

"The Black Dog" is one of the variant-exclusive extra tracks for "The Tortured Poets Department,
along with "The Manuscript," "The Bolter," and "The Albatross."

Similar to other iterations, the "The Black Dog" version comes with exclusive packaging, photographs, and an extra track. It is also only accessible for a certain period of time.

Through March 6th, fans may preorder "The Black Dog" edition on Swift's website. At the 2024 Grammy Awards, Swift made her new album public when she went on stage to claim the Best Pop Vocal Album (Midnights) trophy.

Fans speculated that Swift might make an announcement because it's her 13th Grammy win-her lucky number.

"Tortured Poets is an album," Swift told a Melbourne, Australia audience in February, "I think more than any of my albums that I've ever made, I needed to make it. It was really a lifeline for me. Just the things I was going through and the things I was writing about. It kind of reminded me of why songwriting was something that actually gets me through my life."

Swift recently revealed the 16-song (plus bonus track) track list for the album, which included collaborations with Florence + the Machine and Post Malone.

The pop superstar also shared the news on Instagram, providing her followers with the same image of the same artwork that appeared during her show.

"'Old habits die screaming...' File Name: The Black Dog," she wrote, adding, "Pre-order the final new edition of THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT with exclusive bonus track 'The Black Dog' on my website now."

Meanwhile, a BlackPink member was spotted among the crowd!

Social media users are sharing videos of Lisa dancing to Swift's songs at the performance site. Lisa, who is wearing all-black, is seen having fun at the event with Alice, her tour manager.

Lisa's bandmate Rosé was spotted at an Eras Tour show in Tokyo a month ago. Later, Rosé posted a TikTok video of herself having fun in the Tokyo Dome with a buddy.
