It's official! TLC's Chilli is now a grandmother.

According to People, the musician's son, Tron Austin, just welcomed his first baby with his wife, Jeong Ah Wang, over the weekend. He took to social media to share a photo of his newly expanded family.

In the caption, he wrote, "On this day March 2nd, 2024 at 1:59pm 6.173 LBS/2.8kg an angel from heaven was born our beautiful daughter LUA婁娥) we are officially parents !!"

The baby girl arrived earlier than the couple expected, necessitating an emergency cesarean section. Austin added in the post that he was "beyond proud" of his wife's bravery and courage throughout the experience.

"This is a dream come true we started dating on September 22,2018 fast forward almost 6 years later we are married with our first child life's journey has now truly begun!!!" he added.

Who Is Tron Austin's Father?

According to Pop Sugar, Chilli (real name Rozonda Thomas) had a relationship with music producer Dallas Austin. Their romance began in the early '90s, and after a few years, they welcomed their son Tron.

Unfortunately, they split up in 2001, around the same time Chilli began dating Usher. Regardless, the two were still able to co-parent their son.

However, Austin made a shocking confession in 2021, saying he had difficulty moving forward from their relationship.

Austin, who was friends with Usher, was the songwriter behind Gwen Stefani's track "Cool." It was initially meant for his ex and TLC, but he ended up giving it to the pop star.

"I didn't want to give them that song because the song was about me and Rozonda," he explained, adding that the premise of the song was about him and Chilli being "cool" with each other after moving forward.

How Did Tron Austin Grapple Through His Parents' Fame Growing Up?

Chilli and Austin's son previously appeared in the series "Family Legacy," where he recalled growing up in the spotlight as both of his parents are famous in the music industry.

He noted that he was able to roam around backstage at concerts and check out all the costumes, the microphones and other equipment. He added that he appreciated his parents for doing what they did, as their job wasn't easy.
