Doja Cat shocked fans when she suddenly announced that she was deactivating her Instagram account; she even left a message, reminding her audience to be mindful of their actions and words towards others online.

"Hey, I'm gonna deactivate because I'm not really feeling this anymore," the "Agora Hills" hitmaker announced on Instagram. "You guys take care of yourselves.

"The way I'm spoken to on here and treated makes me have f**ked up thoughts. please watch how you talk to and about people on the internet."

According to the Daily Mail UK, Doja Cat later edited her post to add: "I like coming here to find inspo [sic] and see people being creative, but I just feel this is getting to be [sic] too much."

The rapper's exit from the social media platform comes after several fans expressed concern over her relationship with her boyfriend, J. Cyrus.

Doja Cat was reportedly seen on the celebrity dating app Raya despite no official announcements of their breakup.

Following the rapper's announcement and exit from Instagram, fans flocked to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share their thoughts on the situation.

"I hope she's okay. We all love her," one wrote.

"Good for her. She'll come back with a banger."

Meanwhile, other netizens were unconvinced and brought up Doja Cat's previous run-in with her fans from last year.

"Is this the same person who bad-mouthed her own fans?"

Doja Cat 'Hates' Her Fans

Last year, the "Say So" rapper reportedly had a feud with her fans over the fandom name Kittenz.

"If you call yourself a 'kitten' or f*cking 'kittenz' that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house," Doja Cat wrote in a comment.

When a fan asked the rapper to tell her fans she loved them, she replied, "I don't, though, because I don't even know y'all."
