Travis Kelce Wears 'Taylor Swift Coded' Cardigan; Swifties Starting to be 'Delusional?'

When Travis Kelce wore a comfortable cardigan on Monday for lunch with friends in Los Angeles, Swifties became a bit frenzied, believing he did it for Taylor Swift - or because of Swift.

While Swifties are cute to look at when they are overly joyous about seeing something Travis Kelce is supposedly doing for his girlfriend, some say their behavior is now borderning on delusional.

The 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs flew back from a quick vacation to Singapore to see the "Cruel Summer" singer on tour, and he looked a lot like Swift for the occasion.

He went to Cecconi's restaurant with several friends. For his day out in Los Angeles, Kelce wore an open cardigan with a fuzzy oatmeal color.

He paired the sweater with a loose olive green pair of pants and a white v-neck T-shirt.

Although he wore black eyeglasses and a Hermès belt as accessories, Swifties were obviously drawn to his sweater.

The pop sensation, who wrote the song "Cardigan" for her Folklore album, has a strong affinity for sweaters.

She is well-known for wearing a bulky white knit cardigan in the music video for the song and for selling several copies of it online in addition to giving them as gifts to her well-known acquaintances.

A follower who posted several pictures on Twitter claimed that "Travis may have borrowed this cardigan from a certain blonde's wardrobe."

Swifties Delusional?

This prompted more to express their speculations that Kelce had taken inspiration for his outfit from his girlfriend.

"When i said i am manifesting a pap walk I meant tayvis being completely in love not Travis completely taking me out while wearing a f-king cardigan......" another fan tweeted about Kelce's look.

"idk about u but travis' cardigan would've looked cuter if it said i love ts," a third Swiftie wrote, although another Twitter user chimed in and pointed out that Tom Hiddleston wearing a similar T-shirt "didn't work out."

"Taylor even made fun of him in the LWYMMD MV," the fan tweeted, referencing a scene in "Look What You Made Me Do" where a group of dancers wears "I heart TS" baby tees.

While many are starting to be annoyed with Swifties' general behavior of looking too closely on what Travis Kelce is doing, it's still a safe kind of fun that no one should take away.

Meanwhile, below is a post designed to give Swifties more stuff to talk about:
