Taylor Swift New Album 2024 Shocks: Very Explicit With 'Offensive, Sexual, Violent' Language

Taylor Swift's highly-anticipated album is going to be her most explicit yet. So much so that Swifties might think this is a rebrand.

Fans who pre-saved Taylor Swift's upcoming 11th album, The Tortured Poets Department, on Apple Music received a special message from the singer.

Swifties were ecstatic to hear a voice message from the 34-year-old pop diva after the platform made the eagerly awaited album available to save ahead of its release next month.

"Hi, Apple Music, it's Taylor"

"Hi, Apple Music, it's Taylor," she said in the recording. "Thank you for pre-adding The Tortured Poets Department."

She continued, "I'm really proud to be able to share it with you on April 19th. I can't wait for you to hear it!"

According to Daily Mail UK, the album tracklist, which included the voice note along with seven tracks that had "curse words or language deemed sexual, violent, or offensive in nature," indicated that this would be her most explicit album to date.

Explicit Track List

The songs "Down Bad," "But Daddy I Love Him," "IomI," "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart," and "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" have all been verified as explicit.

The title track, "The Tortured Poets Department," itself is.

The record's genre was also identified by Apple Music as pop, which is the same classification as some of her best-selling albums, such as Red, 1989, Lover, Reputation, and Midnights.

When Swift accepted her 13th Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights last month, she revealed The Tortured Poets Department.

Her admirers quickly started attempting to connect song titles to Harry Styles and Joe Alwyn, two of her previous boyfriends.

Perceptive fans noticed that the song "So Long, London" might be a reference to 32-year-old British-born ex.

The newest album drops April 19, which is technically in a month, or just around the corner.

Swifties Frustrated With High Price Tag

The album will be released in four different versions, each with a unique bonus track, by the wealthy songwriter.

Each vinyl version is $34.99 in price. With standard delivery, the total comes to $47.99.

The amount at checkout will be slightly under $200 for those fans who are fortunate enough to obtain all four versions (the version with extra track "The Manuscript" is the only one currently accessible on her website).

In addition to vinyl, other options include CDs for $12.99, cassettes for $19.99, and digital downloads for $11.99.

Super fans will argue that although Swift's work may seem expensive, the joy it brings is indescribable.
