After waiting for four years for news of new music, Eminem's fans finally got it, via a reputable source. According to fellow rapper Dr. Dre, Em will be dropping his 12th album this year -- and netizens positively went wild over the news.
Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel Tuesday night (Mar. 19), Dre noted that he had Eminem's blessing to drop the big announcement..
"Let me tell you something, let me explain something to you right now: Eminem is working on his own album which is coming out this year," he said.
"I actually talked to him and he said it okay for me to make that announcement right here on this show," Dre added. "So he has an album coming out, I've got songs on it and it's fire. I'm actually gonna hear the entire album for the first time for tomorrow."

Dr. Dre Says Eminem is the 'Best Emcee' Ever
A while back, in an interview with James Corden, Dre made his admiration for Eminem clear.
"I think he's the best emcee ever. Point blank, period. Of course, there are going to be arguments about that because he's a white guy. I don't think anyone that's rapping can touch Eminem on that microphone," he said.
Dre said he recognized Eminem's rapping talent on their first studio session, which also happened the day they first met.
The iconic creative duo emerged from this interaction, and Slim Shady's signature "My Name Is" was born for the world to enjoy.
"I met Eminem at Jimmy Iovine's office. We slapped hands, went to the studio and started recording, and I'm not sure if anybody knows this, but I think the first four albums was just me and him and his writing and his delivery and his imagination is off the charts, and I don't think anyone would disagree with that," he explained.
He added, "I was playing with the MPC and I hit play on it, and he just went, "Hi, my name is". It happened that fast. No bullshit, and then we went from there, and that was the beginning of this relationship."
