Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Returns to 2024 World Tour After Singer's Health Crisis

Bruce Springsteen is not about to let anything stop him from doing what he loves most: performing and touring.

The "Dancing in the Dark" hitmaker and the E Street Band resumed their world tour after postponing the shows last year for Springsteen's peptic ulcer disease treatment in September 2023.

The "Born in the U.S.A." singer picked up in Phoenix right where he left off with a 2 hour, 45-minute concert; he performed some hit chart-topping and fan-favorite hits like "No Surrender," "Two Hearts," "Prove It All Night," "Darkness on the Edge of Town," "Spirit In the Night," "Last Man Standing," and others.

Bruce Springsteen's Health Update

Springsteen had to go on a hiatus for several months due to suffering immense pain and discomfort from his condition.

The 74-year-old singer suffered from peptic ulcer disease, which is an open sore in the lining of the stomach or the small intestine, TODAY reports.

"I got to tell you the truth, we had no idea how much pain he was in," said Steven Van Zandt, The Boss' bandmate. "We were just as surprised as everyone else to learn the extent of his illness."
