During the latest episode of The Masked Singer Season 11, Robin Thicke charmed the audience with his rendition of the classic song "My Life" by legendary artist Billy Joel.
He showed off his vocal abilities and the fun performance highlighted his strong delivery and deep emotional connection to the song, garnering admiration from co-judges Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Rita Ora, and Ken Jeong, who later shared a video on his X, formerly Twitter, page.
Robin's goal of captivating was not just the live spectators but also the viewers tuning in to the show.
Unfortunately, despite his best efforts, the "Blurred Lines" hitmaker's attempts to impress the audience seemed short, as numerous individuals expressed their dissatisfaction with his vocal abilities on various social media platforms.
Robin Thicke Criticized
An online user commented, "During his rendition of Billy Joel's 'My Life' on The Masked Singer, Robin Thicke delivered what I can only describe as a disappointingly subpar performance. It left much to be desired."
Another person called Robin's performance "awful," and a third person even suggested that he "should never, ever try to remake a #BillyJoel song...EVER."
However, Robin Thicke also received praises for his performance.
One X user tweeted, "To be frank, you and last night's contestants all made Billy proud!"

Robin Thicke's Salary on The Masked Singer
Since its inception, Robin Thicke has been a prominent figure as a judge on the popular singing competition The Masked Singer which airs on Fox.
However, his payment for his stint on the show has not been officially revealed.
Nonetheless, an analysis by TheThings proposes that the singer likely pockets around $100,000 per episode. This approximation is consistent with reports from other sources that hint at a comparable amount.
During a conversation with Billboard, Robin Thicke shared his intentions to not only carry out his judging duties but also dive into launching new music soon.
He revealed that due to the devastating Malibu fires that destroyed his residence in 2018, he has lived a nomadic lifestyle for the past four years while raising his children.
"Since we moved back to the Malibu house, the past eight or nine months have been the most productive I've been for years. I'm excited for new music at the top of 2024... I have 75 percent of the album done."
