Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo Stun in Powerhouse 'Wicked' Cast Photos

Fans couldn't help but squeal with excitement and amazement after official photos of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were publicized.

Besides Grande and Erivo, other cast members of the highly anticipated movie musical Wicked were also included in the star-studded photo shoot.

Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo Give Life to Glinda, Elphaba in 'Wicked'

Vanity Fair shared an exclusive sneak peek of the cast of Wicked in their full costumes. Last year, fans got to see unofficial photos of Grande and the cast after footage of them leaked online while filming in the United Kingdom.

Now, the whole gang from Dear Old Shiz is pictured together, and they all look resplendent.

Grande, who has often spoken about the role of Glinda being a lifelong dream, looks ethereal in her stunning pink gown, while Erivo strikes a regal pose as Elphaba in her straightforward black ensemble, complete with an iconic pointed black hat.

Speaking to the publication, Grande talked about the dynamics of Elphaba and Glinda in the upcoming movie.

She described the story simply as "[A] really selfless love and friendship," adding, "They're both each other's first real friend, a person who accepts them for everything that they are."

Erivo seconded Grande's statement, sharing what she wants people to take from the story: "We are all different and the same, and the differences that we have actually make us really special. Hopefully we use those differences to introduce ourselves to one another. We aren't pushing people away because they're different, but we're opening up because they're special."

'Wicked' Cast Members Look Picture-Perfect

Vanity Fair published the official photos of the other cast members in their full costumes, in addition to Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivio.

Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh commands attention as Madame Morrible, and Jeff Goldblum is the sinister-looking Wizard himself.

Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey, who plays Elphaba's love interest Fiyero Tigelaar, looks charming and carefree.

Ethan Slater as Boq, Marissa Bode as Nessarose, Bowen Yang as Pfanee, and Bronwyn James as Shenshee round out the cast, donning their uniforms from Shiz University.

Wicked: Part 1, directed by Jon M. Chu, arrives in theatres on Nov. 27, 2024.
