Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor's family confirmed the details of his funeral weeks after his death.
Windsor's dance company, Burn The Floor, confirmed his death in a statement on Facebook, prompting an outpouring amount of tributes from the public. Over a month after the loss, his friends, colleagues and loved ones received an update regarding his burial.

As reported by The Mirror, Windsor's family confirmed their plans to hold a private funeral before having a celebration of life. They also expressed their gratitude to everyone who shared their love and support for the dancer before and after his death.
"In the meantime we once again thank everyone for the love and the memories shared of Robin. As a family we also please ask for there to be no further upsetting speculation. We thank you for respecting our continued privacy at this difficult time," the statement continued.
The service will not be available to the public.
Following the announcement, an unnamed friend of Windsor told the Daily Mail that his family wanted to have "a colorful celebration of his life" through its "emotional and beautiful dance performances." Gordana Grandosek, Kristina Rhianoff, Lisa Riley and Susanna Reid reportedly received an instruction to bring a rainbow umbrella to the scheduled ceremony.
"He was always such a larger than life character, fun to be around but always so open and honest about everything he was going through," the insider continued. "His greatest love was dancing, so when they started planning his funeral, everyone agreed that there had to be a performance that would be a beautiful tribute to everything he achieved in his career."
Windsor notably danced with celebrities on Strictly Come Dancing from 2010 to 2013.

Robin Windsor Battled With Depression Before His Death
While Windsor's exact cause of death has yet to be confirmed, people close to him said he was in "excruciating pain" before his passing.
He served as an ambassador for mental health charity Sane as he became more open about his battle with mental health issues.
"I didn't really understand when I was 19 years old that I was suffering from depression at that time," he went on. "And as I said, I was fueling my life with as much as possible without drugs."
Through dancing, Windsor found a new meaning in life.
