A beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake seems to be heating up. The former seemingly dissed the rapper and his co-headliner, J. Cole, in a new song, but the pair have opted not to respond to the new track so far.
According to Variety, Kendrick Lamar was recently featured on the song "Like That" from Future and Metro Boomin's new collaborative album We Don't Trust You.
In his verse, he seemingly addressed some verses that Drake and J. Cole previously released through the "First Person Shooter" track from the record For All the Dogs, which contained the "big three" lyrics, allegedly referring to the duo and Kendrick.
However, later in the song, Drake digs at Kendrick Lamar, seemingly excluding him from the "big three titles."
Kendrick Lamar Responds to Drake in New Song
On "Like That," Kendrick Lamar seemingly shaded Drake and J. Cole while responding to their previous diss.
"Yeah get up with me, f*** sneak dissing / 'First Person Shooter,' I hope they came with three switches," he sang, then added, "M********* the big three, n****, it's just big me."
After the track was released, Uproxx reported that Drake and J. Cole continued their It's All A Blue - Big As The What? Tour at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, FL.
At the time, fans were expecting the two to respond to the latest diss, but they were surprised that Kendrick Lamar was not mentioned throughout the show.
Later, a video of Drake wearing earphones while coming out of a club in Miami, FL, was shared on social media, and fans speculated that he was listening to an audio recording that might be his response. However, he has yet to confirm anything.
Drake Continues to be Generous on Tour
The recent news comes after Drake performed at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, where he continued to be generous, giving away money to a few of the people in the crowd.
During the show, the "Take Care" rapper spotted a woman holding up a sign, asking him if he could help her pay off her late father's debt. Drake agreed.
He later saw a different woman who said Drake had helped her survive cancer amid her chemotherapy, and the rapper was happy to see her there that evening. He later gave her $30,000.
