Post Season, a pop/punk outfit based in Altoona, Pa., decided to strip down for its latest release.
Sometimes We Play Acoustic is a different take on the band's sound, and the evidence is in the first song, "Hey Hun," in which singer Dan Tippery admits, "I went and wrote you a soft one."
Another highlight is "Full Collapse (Acoustic)," in which guest vocalist Beth Lucas offers her talents in a punk-ish duet. Founded in 2012, Post Season is signed to Broken Rim Records (Quincy, Mass.)
This weekend also brought the announcement of full-band EP Hollowed Out Hearts, which will be available Oct. 25 according to The Alternative Press.
