Sean "Diddy" Combs' high-profile lawsuit amounting to $30 million mentions celebrities' names, including royal members such as Prince Harry.
According to legal documents submitted in a New York court and obtained by Page Six, record producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones asserts that the rapper's connections to the Duke of Sussex and other celebrities boosted his and his team's credibility.
The "It's All About the Benjamins" hitmaker has found himself entangled in legal battles with three women and has suffered the repercussions of lost business opportunities.
Princes William and Harry first met Combs when the brothers organized a celebration in 2007 to express gratitude to everyone involved in the "Concert for Diana" tribute to their late mother. The Prince of Wales has not been identified in the legal papers. The mansion spanning 17,000 square feet, where Diddy unveiled his most recent album twelve months ago, was inundated with agents from Homeland Security Investigations. They executed a search warrant and collected evidence in connection with an ongoing investigation led by prosecutors in the Southern District of New York, as disclosed by sources in law enforcement privy to the probe. No information is available regarding the frequency of Prince Harry's interactions with the rapper following that encounter. During an interview, Lil Rod disclosed that he was responsible for creating nine tracks on Combs' upcoming album, The Love Album: Off the Grid, in 2023. According to him, he witnessed Combs spiking the drinks of these individuals. Additionally, Lil Rod claims that he possesses extensive video evidence revealing what he describes as "serious illegal activity" involving Combs. Law enforcement sources revealed that federal agents from Homeland Security's searches of Combs' properties were part of an ongoing federal investigation into allegations of sex trafficking linked to the prominent hip-hop star.
