TikTok star and singer Anaïs Robin has died at the age of 21, her record label confirmed in a statement.
Gabs & Jo released the announcement on Instagram and tagged Robin's official page to deliver the tragic news.
"It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our artist Anais Robin, which occurred after a road accident on Saturday night in the north of France," the record label wrote in French, translated into English by media outlets. "Anais was much loved and appreciated by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Anais. You will be forever remembered in our hearts."
Anais Robin Dead at 21
The Mirror reported that the French native was driving alone when her vehicle veered off the road before crashing into a tree while traveling the M941 highway in Baisieux near Lille, France.
Following her death, her Instagram bio was updated to, "In homage to our most beautiful star, Anaïs Robin."
Meanwhile, her colleagues, friends and fans left heartfelt messages in the comments section to express their heartbreak after the loss.
One wrote, "Rest in peace my love, you will forever be engraved in my memory."
"My deepest condolences to the family," another said. A third added, "Oh la la but how can we leave so young?! I didn't know this very talented singer at all, just randomly came across an article. Honestly, life is sometimes unfair, she had her whole life ahead of her. How unfair is this!"
Metro UK said the authorities have since launched an investigation into the tragic accident.

Anais Robin's Life Remembered
Robin notably uploaded her performances with her brother, Elliot, on her TikTok account. Her updates often received more than 1 million views. Her song "Another" garnered more than 2 million views on on YouTube. She posted her final TikTok on March 15, lest than two weeks before the accident.
Funeral and memorial details have yet to be announced.
